MODERNIZATION OF THE STREETS IN TIRGU- MURES

  

1.    PROJECT’S PREZENTATION:

General objective:

Improving transport infrastructure in the municipality of Tirgu-Mures in order to: facilitate mobility of the population, increase the efficiency of economic activities in order to stimulate sustainable economic development.

Specific objectives:

Modernization and road signs implementation of the streets that take over the traffic flow from the functional areas and lead them to: Baneasa Street, Budiului   Street, Livezeni Street, Mureseni Street,Voiniceni Street, Podeni Street, Libertatii Street.

Through this project, city streets will be modernized and signposted on a road length of 13 km.

Rehabilitation and modernization of these roads will facilitate the traffic to other major cities in the country, namely Cluj Napoca, Brasov, Bistrita and Alba Iulia.

 

Baneasa Street modernization

- The proposed road section starts from Depozitelor Street and ends at the intersection with Dezrobirii Street

The area of this work is 21.855 sq.m. and its length is 1,740 km.

Proposed works:
- modernization of the asphalt surface
- modernization of the sidewalks
- roadway ditches
- raising the utility manholes at the proper height
- mounting the road signs
- making the directional pavement markings

Budiului Street modernization

- The proposed road section starts from the intersection with Bega Street and ends at the administrative boundary of the city.

The area of this work is 25.750 sq.m. and its length is 1,948 km

- raising the utility manholes at the proper height
- concrete ditches
- mounting the road signs
- making the directional pavement markings

The area of this work is 24.632  sq.m. and its length is 1,321 km

PROJECT’S VALUE:

The total value of the project is: 62.349.899,54 lei  from which:

-          Non-reimbursable financial assistance:              49.041.773,98 lei

-          Co- financing:                                         1.009.294,68 lei

The difference of 12.387.469,73 lei is represented by the non-eligible costs and VAT that will be recovered through special procedures.

Integrated Sustainable Development Program of the City of Tirgu-Mures (ISDP) – Step I

 

1. PROJECT’S PRESENTATION:

General objective:

The objective of this key area of intervention is to increase the quality of life and to create new jobs in the city of Tirgu Mures through the rehabilitation of urban infrastructure, improving urban services, inclusive social services, and developing business and entrepreneurship support structures.

Specific objectives:

By implementing step I of this project a number of 20 municipal streets will be modernized and will be road signed, on a total length of 12,095 km totaling a carriageable area of 80.475 sq.m.

 

Modernization will ensure safety and comfort for both vehicular traffic and pedestrians, on the following street sections:

-   Constantin Romanu Vivu – 371 m

-   Zăgazului -  204 m

-   Crîngului -  64 m

The project includes modernization implementation of the road system, sidewalks, longitudinal and transversal parking places, replacement of the utility manholes’ cover, replacing drains, providing pluvial water drainage, access to properties, longitudinal and transversal markings and road traffic signs.

2.    PROJECT’S VALUE:

-         The total value of the project is: 37.620.733,24 lei  from which:

-         Non-reimbursable financial assistance:              29.470.698,00 lei

-         Co-financing                                            868.603,00 lei

The difference of 7.281.432,24 lei is represented by the VAT on the total value of the project.
