General objective: Sustainable tourism development in Tirgu Mures by creating tourism infrastructure on Corneşti Plateau, increasing the contribution of tourism to the local economy and efficient and rational use of resources owned by the city

-         Building the recreational infrastructure on unused green area from Cornesti Plateau, ensuring the efficient and controlled revaluation of the natural resources owned by the municipality for tourism;

-         Diversification of the type of infrastructure and tourist services in the city by offering new and exciting ways for leisure in order to attract annually a large number of tourists from and outside the country (increasing the number of tourists by at least 15%);

-         Strengthening the main types of tourism in Tirgu Mures: recreational and cultural tourism;

-         Generating new money for the local budget, attracted directly and indirectly as a result of recreational infrastructure development;

-         Organizing sport competitions and new cultural and artistic events for attracting diverse direct or indirect participants.

-         Increasing the number of jobs in tourism

-         Implementing the most effective ways to promote Corneşti Plateau and the city as a tourist destination through the services proposed by this project.
